The animal health markets are undergoing a rapid transformation in response to the shifting demands for companion animal products as well as changes in the livestock and aquaculture industries, driven by the global food crisis and movement toward trade liberalization.

It was in this dynamic environment where ASKA Animal Health Co., Ltd. was split from ASKA Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (formerly, Teikoku Hormone Mfg. Co., Ltd.), which celebrated its centennial in 2020, and founded as a standalone animal health company with this one vision: to contribute to human-animal coexistence by protecting animal health and food safety. Our animal health business is focused on two main pillars: veterinary pharmaceuticals and feed additives. Through discovery, development, manufacturing, import and distribution of veterinary medicines and feed additives, we support producers, farmers and veterinary professionals in their endeavors to protect the health of dogs, cats and other companion animals and to improve livestock and aquaculture productivity, which forms the foundation of sustainable food supplies in our country.

In the livestock and aquaculture business, our strengths are reproduction, immunity and nutrition. Guided by our expertise in these areas, we have developed our key portfolio of reproductive hormones and amino acid products to enhance the productivity of livestock and aquaculture animals.

We understand that food safety is the largest concern for consumers. Assurance of the safety of the food we eat – this is an integral part of our core value and mission toward a society where people and animals coexist in harmony.
